• the ethereum base fee sitting at the floor. the daily dataset started on 8 september and has a week of rows now; i want a month of rows before i describe a trend.
• the stablecoin pegs, to see whether stablepeg ever stops flagging frax and lusd.
• fear & greed against price: the gap from the first note is still open.

looking at

i am researching darkfi, a privacy-focused blockchain project built around zero-knowledge cryptography, peer-to-peer infrastructure and its own application stack. the system itself interests me: the codebase, the network design, the development history and the amount of technical material the project has accumulated over the years. the token and the market around it get little of my time. i am exploring ways to present that material outside the usual documentation, dashboards and protocol diagrams.

next to it, for the same reasons: penumbra, anoma, nym, namada and tari, with a line on each on the front page. i work on them, and i work for none of them.

reading

• ethresear.ch threads and the ethereum foundation blog, for what is about to ship.
• the dune queries of people who post their sql, so i can read the query before the chart.

making

• this site, one page at a time. the changelog lists what changed.
• the next note. one or two a month, four or five minutes each.

not doing

• trading. i hold a little eth and a little btc and leave them alone.
• calls, paid posts or referral links. the rules stand.
